Magician Rodd ‘humbled’ to perform for Taoiseach Kenny
Rodd was performing at a street festival in Castlebar last week, when he was invited to show off his skills to Mr Kenny.
“He was really impressed,” Rodd told The Times.
“I turned a five euro note into a 20 euro for him - he actually joked that he could employ me as a manager in the Department of Finance.”

“The festival itself was brilliant, told Rodd.
“I was really delighted when I got the call to perform at it.”
Rodd even repeated his handcuff escape much to the delight of the huge crowd.
“Two gardai officers bascially arrested me then put me in handcuffs and I managed to escape in just under a minute,” told Rodd.

Enda Kenny wasn’t the only well known face that Rodd peformed for this month.
He performed for guests at Jim Magilton wedding at the Galform in Ballymena.
“Jim is a really nice guy, he actually sent me a lovely email thanking me for peforming.
