Ju-Jitsu has many benefits aside being a very useful and effective martial art, such as gaining fitness, friendship, learning self defence and building self esteem. At our club children can start from the age of 5 years old where they can progress their basic motor skills. Ju-Jitsu can help children grow socially, emotionally and physically and it can help them grow towards positive development and have good relationships with others, also progressing through the belts gives a real sense of achievement. Our sports programme not only focuses on the technical sports skill it also focuses on the development of the individual where the aim in Ju-Jitsu is to grow a persons body and mind for the good. Our club runs on Friday evenings from The Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, 7pm-8pm for children age 5-14 and adult classes from 8pm-9.30pm and we offer a free trial class for beginners.
